Whether you arrive by car via Terlano, look down into the valley from the mountain station of the Meltina cable car or go on excursions in and around Bolzano and Merano. You cannot avoid noticing the large number of vineyards everywhere. The grapes are processed to delicious wines, South Tyrolean sparkling wine and Grappas.
