The Tschögglberg high plateau between Meran and Bozen
The Tschögglberg high plateau stretches between Meran and Bozen and forms a scenic mountain ridge in the Sarntal Alps at altitudes of 1,100 to 1,500 metres. On this ridge lie the four municipalities of Hafling, Vöran, Mölten and Jenesien.
A regular bus service conveniently connects the villages, making it easy to explore the Tschögglberg without a car.

The Tschögglberg and the Haflinger
On the altopiano Salten, part of the Tschögglberg, you can discover the origin of the Haflinger horse. This is where the breed began its success story and where it continues to shape the landscape and local culture today.
Whether for children, beginners or experienced riders, the riding stables on the Tschögglberg offer the right experience for every level. A horseback ride across sunny meadows and through light larch forests turns your holiday into an unforgettable adventure.
