The Mölten/Meltina Fossil Museum is designed as an outdoor museum and is accessible to visitors at all times. The exhibition is provided with explanatory texts and an audio station and can thus also be accessed independently. Access to the exhibition is free of charge.

We highly recommend a guided group tour of the museum with one of our local experts.
Guided tours are available in German, Italian and English.

Public guided tours

Bookings must be made by 12 noon at the latest on the day before the tour.

Please note: If the actual group size differs from the booking, the corresponding amount must be paid at the start of the tour or laboratory session
in accordance with the price list.

Weekly tours take place: 
Tuesday        at 3.30 pm
Thursday       at 9.30 am
Saturday        at 9.30 am

On other days of the week, tours are available on request.

Tour without laboratory session (approx. 1 hour):
2 adults + children:     €30.00
Children under 18:      free

Tour with laboratory session (approx. 90 minutes):
2 adults + children:    €40.00
Children under 18:     free of charge

Group prices without laboratory:
2   -   7 people:     €   15.00 per person
8   -  15 people:    € 100.00 per group
16 -  25 people:    € 120.00 per group

Group prices with laboratory
2   -   7 people:     €  20.00 per person

School groups & clubs: guided tours and hands-on lab experiences for school groups of all ages, ELKI groups,
clubs and cooperatives (for children and young people up to 18 years old)

Birthday parties at the museum available on request; date and time to be agreed.
