Max Thurner Perlhof

The Perlhof vineyards extend across four different locations, some with varying slope orientations. The steep southern slopes of Bolzano offer perfect climatic conditions, with warm air masses rising from the Bolzano basin and cool currents from the Eisack Valley.
In combination with our skeletal soils of quartz porphyry, the Perlhof provides an excellent habitat for the old vines. We elicit the maximum flavour and quality from the various varieties.

The Max Thurner family has been working and living in the vineyards for several generations. With a great deal of manual labour and passion, they produce high-quality wine.
