1. Hofstätter ranks among the defining family estates of Alto Adige. Rooted in the historic centre of Tramin, it stands for origin, character, and a distinctive signature, across generations.

On both sides of the Adige Valley, in Tramin and Mazon, wines take shape with precise style and timeless expression. Different elevations, soils, and microclimates create the ideal conditions.

In 1987, J. Hofstätter introduces the „Vigna“ classification, becoming the first winery in Alto Adige to establish this benchmark. „Vigna“ denotes single vineyards with a clearly defined identity, places where origin reveals itself unmistakably.
